Why your Mac warns you

macOS warns about every app downloaded from the web that is not notarized by Apple yet. Sealpad is not, because we are preparing the Mac App Store release. Once it is in the store you can install it from there without any warning.

Sealpad works only on your Mac. It does not connect to the internet, does not ask for the camera, microphone or contacts, and opens only the files you choose.

Common install problems

I do not see Open Anyway

The button appears only after you have tried to open the app once and clicked Done, at the bottom of Privacy & Security. If it is not there, quit System Settings and try opening the app again.

macOS says the app is damaged

This usually means the download was incomplete. Delete it, download it again and unzip it with Finder by double-clicking, not with another unzip app.

Does it work on macOS older than 15?

No. Sealpad needs macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Check your version in Apple menu > About This Mac.

How do I uninstall it?

Drag Sealpad from Applications to the Trash. Apart from its own small settings file it installs nothing anywhere else.
